You can choose between an English language course (there are several English courses for Australia LINK), a professional course to obtain a qualification in a specific trade or profession (VET courses, Vocational Education & Training) or a bachelor’s university course degree, master degree or PhD doctorate
WHAT CAN YOU DO ON A STUDENT VISA
The student visa allows all family members to work part-time for up to 40 hours every two weeks or 20 hours per week. Only the main applicant – main applicant must be enrolled in the course. In some cases, with the student visa it is also possible to work full-time or full-time. The possibility of being able to work full-time is granted during the vacation periods provided for during the course or for the entire duration of the student visa if you are enrolled in certain university courses.
